Initial Designs

I have made an initial design of my front cover, contents page and double page spread of my music magazine. This will help me when I come to actually make my magazine as I will know where I want things to be placed etc. I have included them below.

The front cover and double page spread I have designed show a female artist walking on the top of buildings. The buildings are considerabley smaller in size to her showing that she is rising and becoming a big star. After deciding this, a friend gave me an edition of Q that using this idea. It is of Florence and the Machine.

I am going to use this as inspiration as I really like the look of it. I like how in this photoshoot they have made all the buildings black and white and they have famous buildings from around the world such as Big Ben and the Statue of Liberty.
